A hot day with nothing to do? Aesthetically pleasing, centrally located and accessible, Altona's Aquatic Centre draws all ages to bask in the sun or take a dip! The brand new, family-friendly facility offers over 35,000 sq. ft. of fun, featuring a Junior Olympic pool, wading pool and water play area for younger swimmers, a huge water slide and wide slide, as well as a diving board, water cannons, and where else but in Altona would you find a jumbo spraying sunflower?

A beach volleyball court is incorporated in the Centre along with spacious picnic and sunbathing areas. The pool house offers a large, bright entrance, and includes single and family changing rooms, bathrooms, showers and lockers. A poolside concession stand provides delicious snacks and beverages. Relax with a burger while you watch the kids, or just jump right in!

The Centre offers special family rates, season passes, swimming lessons, group rentals, and special public swim sessions for tots, teens, adults and families.
