RESERVATIONS ACCEPTED STARTING TUESDAY, APRIL 6TH, 2010 AT 8:30 A.M.

(Season is from May long weekend through October)

The 20 acre Altona Centennial Park is the largest park in Altona. It is adjacent to the Buffalo Creek Nature Park and is bordered on its south side by the the Altona Campground. The Park is composed of 4 baseball diamonds, 2 tennis courts, a playground, picnic area with shelters, the Aquatic Centre and an outdoor stage.

The Altona area boasts many other local attractions, including a 9-hole golf course, a shopping mall, various restaurants and hotels, a library, the Trans-Canada Trail, and our Van Gogh, the worlds tallest painting on a easel. With all this - and more - at your door step, our camping facility is the perfect place to call home, this summer, in Altona!

Amenities:

• Altona Aquatic Centre featuring 2 water slides and a Junior Olympic size pool, picnic areas and concession.
• Sites 1 to 30 are all Serviced sites and include 30 amp Electrical and Water.
• Sites 1 to 20 are campers only.
• Sites 21 to 30 are tents & campers.
• Washroom & Shower facilities.
• Firewood available for sale.

2009 Fees:

• Serviced Sites $20 per night.
• A $5 reservation fee is charged for all advanced reservations.

Stay 6 consecutive nights and get your 7th night free!

General Rules:

• Pets must be leashed at all times. Owners are responsible for clean-up of droppings.
• Only one family allowed per site.
• Check-In Time, 3pm.
• Check-Out time, 1pm. The sites must be cleared at this time.
• Quiet hours are from 11pm – 7am. This includes turning off generators during this time.
• Reservations may be made by phone with the recreation office during regular business hours - 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Online reservation requests may be made anytime! Requests will be processed on the next business day.
• On arrival, please check in at the Aquatic Centre, starting June 14th.

Cancellation Policy

• Notice must be given 72 hours prior to check-in time in order to receive a full refund, less the reservation fee. If less notice is given, the first night’s fees are forfeited.
