1. Solid Waste:

The following rates apply to the Altona/Rhineland/Gretna Landfill Site:

Minimum charge up to 5 bags of garbage - $7.00

Half ton truck or smaller trailer - $16.00

One ton truck -$31.00

Truck over one ton and up to 10 ton - $60.00

*Any oversized loads in one category will be charged the next higher rate.

The above fees shall apply to all persons delivering to the above noted site, including garbage contractors. All persons delivering to the above noted site who do not reside within the boundaries of the R.M. of Rhineland, the Town of Altona and/or the Town of Gretna shall pay an amount equal three times hte fees as listed herein. The triple fee rate shall also apply to persons living within the boundaries of the Town of Plum Coulee.

Any garbage contractor that has been issued access to and wants to dump during the hours that the Landfill site is closed will be assessed a tipping fee which is twice the above fees for any garbage.

2. Solid Waste/Recycling

The fee chargeable for each solid waste tag shall be $1.00.

3. Cemetery

All fees are subject to GST

a.) The fees chargeable for the purchase of cemetery graves at the Altona Cemetery shall be:

i.) Single Plot - $500.00 (plus GST) plus $150.00 for perpetual care= $675.00

ii.) Double Plot - $1,000.00 (plus GST) plus $300.00 for perpetual care = $1,350.00

iii.) Cremation (Maximum of 4 urns per plot)

First Urn - $500.00 (plus GST) plus - $150.00 for perpetual care = $675.00

Per Urn after first is $100.00 plus GST

iv.) Baby plot (in designated area) - No Charge

b.) Disinterment - Actual cost plus $50.00

4. Rental of Traffic Control Devices/Leisure Equipment/Hose

The fees chargeable for rental of traffic control devices/leisure equipment/hose shall be:

a.) Rental - 10% of replacment/event

b.) Deposit - 50% of replacement/event

5. Fees for Special Services:

a.) For custom work (not covered by Section 8 herein) - Actual costs plus 30%

b.) For a Building Service Connection

i.) For a 5/8 inch meter - Water permits (including meter) $225.00

ii.) For other meter sizes: Water permits (including meter) Actual costs plus $50.00

iii.) Sewer permits - $125.00

New Connections from mains to property line - Actual costs plus 10%
