The Altona Community Development Corporation was established in 1997 to promote economic growth, job creation and an enhanced quality of life i n the Town of Altona. The Town Council of hte day believed that an independent body of elected officials and businessmen could more effectively develop and implement a broad range of incentives to promote the continued growth and expansion of the local economy.
The Altona Industrial Park spans approximately 150 acres and is being further developed by the Altona Community Development Corporation. The Corporation is presently working to develop the additional lots in the new industrial park area. The fully serviced, competitively priced lots of various sizes are available. Altona businesses benefit from some of the lowest energy costs in North America, access to high speed internet and the close proximity to the Canada/U.S. border.
