Altona Police Service will be conducting Impaired Driving road checks. With the festive season here, please don’t drink and drive. |
ATTENTION SNOWMOBILE OPERATORS

All snowmobile operators in Altona:
- Must be sixteen and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must wear a helmet.
- Must not drive on streets.
- Must take the most direct route out of town
and back to residence by way of boulevards and ditches.
- Speed must not exceed 10 km per hour.
- Must not drive in any residential area between
the hours of midnight and 7 a.m.
